Oregon is one of the best states in the US for outdoor adventure. The state has miles of stunning coastline, the deepest lake in the United States, enormous waterfalls, desert landscapes, mountains, hot springs and more. It’s incredibly diverse.

In addition to the amazing nature, the city of Portland is also fun to visit. It has a fantastic food scene and is a haven for plant-based and artistic folks.

A few places I recommend for an Oregon road trip include Crater Lake National Park, the Samuel H. Boardman Scenic Corridor, Cave Junction, Columbia River Gorge, the city of Bend and Smith Rock State Park.
