Nebraska is more than just a “flyover” state! While it might not be the first state you think of when it comes to hiking or outdoor travel, I really enjoyed exploring the Northwest corner of the state.

Northwest Nebraska is home to fossils, unique rock formations and one of my favorite roadside attractions. Plus, you can even see important historic sights that were a part of the Oregon Trail.

That’s not to mention the fun cities in Nebraska, such as Lincoln and Omaha. Spend some time exploring this underrated midwest state and you’re sure to find lots of exciting things to do and see.
